That way you stop the evil golems from pushing the line of marbles into the hole at the end of the path. With the stars you earn per level, you unlock special projectiles and other bonuses and make them stronger.
You aim with the mouse or your finger and shoot a marble. Make a row of at least three of the same colour to clear them.
