In Alchemy you combine two elements and a third one appears. By experimenting you discover them all. The logic is based on the ideas of medieval alchemists, so magic plays a big role: you can make a phoenix, but not a lawn mower. Elements can work both literally and figuratively.
You drag one element onto another with the mouse or your finger and let go to see if they react. You can find the recipes you've discovered in the recipe book.
